River Fergus Clean Up
June 11th, 2010
Ennis tidy towns and friends carried out a clean up of the Fergus this week, and collected and tidied up a large amount of sandbags which had found their way into the river over the winter. Branches were cut off dead trees which had fallen into the river and were removed.
Steele’s Rock was in need of cleaning and painting, and local painter James O’Sullivan volunteered his services and treated washed and repainted the rock.
A big thanks to all who helped out with the Fergus clean up
