Wallcandy street art project has drawn together artists & designers with diverse skills to create pieces of art on walls and buildings around the town of Ennis.

The aim of Wallcandy is to give artists the opportunity and freedom to conceive and create a piece of art that uses a particular site in an interesting and quirky way. The resulting artworks hope to engage, surprise and entertain viewers of all ages.

Best Kept Garden 2010

Green Areas Competition 2010

We look forward to your participation in this year’s Green Areas Competition.Adjudication will take place during the month of July.

Adjudication Criteria will include
1. Developmental Approach
2. General Appearance and Presentation of Residential Areas.
3. Community Projects/Links with Ennis Tidy Towns
4. Litter Control/Tidiness
5. Overall Approach

Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 25th June 2010.

Community Challenge 2010

Community Challenge 2010Tidy Towns is challenging Residents Associations to come up with projects to enhance their environment which could see groups winning a grant of up to €200 towards their project.

Ennis Tidy Towns committee will give a grant of up to €200 to every group that comes up with an appropriate idea or project. Minimum paperwork is required. Projects can include planting, placenames, seating or litter-picking equipment, for example. So let’s have some ideas and improve our neighbourhood environments.
